This ranking to the model was given based on the safety provided by the vehicle to both passengers and to the driver, reliability of the vehicle and on the test drives.

The radio that comes with the navigation system provides valuable information related to the real updates. The 2009 model is value priced family SUV that just does not stand out in the competitive sector. It delivers value and safety, but lacks in performance in comparison to the competitor models.

The vehicle is included with all the basic amenities needed for a SUV. The standard features in the vehicle include air conditioning, side air bags, navigation system, halogen head lights, cargo light, leather upholstery and other safety features. The radio in the navigation system is standard, where as the iPod/MP3 jack is provided as optional.

The competitor models to the this model include Toyota Highlander and Saturn Outlook. The current generation Santa is offered in three different trim levels- GLS, SE and Limited, powered with either 3.3 liter or 2.7 liter V6 engine.
